GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Georgetown Fire Department is remembering former Georgetown firefighter, Rick Whitaker, after he reportedly lost his battle with cancer over the weekend.
A post from the department read that Whitaker served on the department from 1996-2004.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and all of those who had the opportunity to work alongside FF Whitaker," the post read.
