(LEX 18) — The Fayette County coroner says that the Anderson County 18-year-old injured in a crash has died.
Jill Tyler Hurst, 18, died of traumatic brain injuries from a crash in Anderson County. She died at UK Medical Center on Thursday.
Her mother posted to Facebook Wednesday that Jill was being prepared to "give others the gift of life through the donation of her organs."
The crash happened almost a week ago.
David Henderson, 30, is charged with first-degree assault in the case. Police say Henderson ran from a traffic stop in Harrodsburg and crashed after fleeing to Lawrenceburg. Kentucky State Police say that more charges are pending in the case.
