MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Berea police were on the scene of a shooting at the Boone Square mini-mall on Thursday.
Police received a call about a shooting that happened in a vehicle in the parking lot of the mall.
One person has been transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for a gunshot wound.
Police are interviewing a person of interest, according to a press release.
Police said that there are no current threats to the community and that this was an isolated incident.
