BEREA, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Berea Community Elementary School will be closed Friday because of problems with the facility's air conditioning amid soaring temperatures.
In a post on the school's official Facebook page, Superintendent Diane Hatchett said "extreme heat" coupled with "issues with out HVAC system" spurred officials to make the decision.
