WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police charged five adults and one juvenile in a string of car burglaries in southern Warren County.
Authorities said more than $13,000 worth of goods were stolen in the thefts.
The break-ins occurred in August and September. Police said guns, money and prescription medications were among the items stolen.
Following two months of investigation by the Warren County Sheriff's Department, six people were indicted in the case.
Destin Long, 19; Muhamed Ademi, 19; Tyler Nickel, 18; and Christopher "Trevor" Poteet, 19; all face theft and other charges.
Mason Cline, 28, who was charged with trafficking marijuana.
The sheriff's office said deputies were able to recover some of the stolen items and return them to their owners.
