BEREA, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Fayette County Coroner says a woman died after being involved in a motorcycle crash.
According to officials, Betty Pheanis, 78, of Berea, died just after midnight at UK Hospital. Pheanis died as a result of a motorcycle versus pedestrian crash in Berea on Saturday afternoon.
She was taken to UK Medical Center where she passed away Wednesday morning from blunt force trauma. The report did not specify whether Pheanis was on the motorcycle or was the pedestrian.
Berea police are investigating the crash.
