FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Kentucky Supreme Court ruled unanimously in favor of Governor Matt Bevin’s re-organization of several boards and committees that oversee public education.

That ruling came down Thursday.

Attorney General Andy Beshear, who is running against Bevin in November, sued over the governor’s executive order in 2017 that made the changes.

But the Supreme Court found “no statutory or constitutional infirmity with the governor’s use of the executive order.”
