Lexington Woman Arrested In Connection To Armed Robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Lexington woman has been charged with robbing another woman at knife-point.

It happened around 9:32 a.m. Friday at the Kroger in Bryan Station.

According to an arrest citation, 33-year-old Amber Lewis allegedly threatened a woman with a knife, demanding her keys, phone, and purse.

She is also alleged to have grabbed the woman’s phone from her hand.

Lewis was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery.

She remains in the Fayette County Detention Center.
