SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man has been arrested after he reportedly led authorities on a multi-county chase.
It started just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on Georgetown Road.
Scott County deputies say when they tried pulling over a car for suspected DUI, it sped off into Fayette County.
We’re told the car crashed into a guardrail a short time later near the intersection with Berea Road in Lexington.
The driver, later identified as Jaylen Beckham, fled the scene on foot.
He was arrested a few hours later by Lexington police.
Officials say Beckham had active warrants and will face more charges, including fleeing and evading police.
There was reportedly one passenger in the car who remained on scene.
No one was hurt.
