ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WAVE) – A daycare employee admitted to biting an infant’s arm out of frustration, according to WAVE 3 News.
Police were called to Kinderplay in Elizabethtown after someone reported that a 5-month-old had a bite mark on its left arm.
Crystal Beck, 31, told officers she did not know how the mark got on the child. After an interview, police say she admitted to biting the child when the infant scratched her face.
The infant’s skin was not broken by the bite. Beck said she knew she was supposed to report any abuse or injuries to her supervisor but did not.
She has been charged with criminal abuse and failure to report child neglect or abuse. She was fired from her position
