LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man charged in connection to a fatal shooting at The Fox Club on Winchester Road is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
Gaige Phillips is expected to make his first court appearance after being charged with criminal facilitation of murder in connection to the January shooting.
Phillips is accused of helping James Ragland II, who is accused of murder in the shooting, to escape.
Police say the shooting happened on the night of Jan. 26 and killed27-year-old Iesha Edwards after a fight broke out between several people outside the club.
Phillips was arrested in Detroit in February along with Ragland.
Ragland is accused of firing the shots that killed Edwards.
Phillips is scheduled for an arraignment at noon.
