LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18)– Middle and high school students from around the state will be featured in a new statewide campaign to warn young people about the dangers of vaping and smoking e-cigarettes.

The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky campaign was unveiled at a news conference at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Louisville.

The foundation’s campaign will reportedly include several public service announcements, featuring young Kentuckians sharing what they’ve learned about the dangers of e-cigs.

According to the CDC, most e-cigs contain nicotine which is highly addictive and can harm adolescent brain development.
