LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — City officials cancelled Lexington’s annual Kite Festival on Saturday morning due to weather.
The festival was to take place Saturday between noon and 4 p.m. at Masterson Station Park.
However, with rain and gusty winds in the forecast, officials decided to scrap the festivities.
There was no indication whether the event might be rescheduled at a later date.
