LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– One man is dead and another is in critical condition after an officer-involved shooting in Louisville.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at an apartment complex in the Okolona area.
Officers say when they arrived a man with a gun had already shot another man several times in the parking lot.
He was ordered to drop the weapon before officers say he ran at them, with his gun pointed.
That’s when multiple officers fired shots.
The man was taken to the hospital where he died.
The other man who was shot was also taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
