LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18 ) – It’s normal to be skeptical of news posted on April Fools Day, but LEX 18’s Keith Farmer has confirmed that the University of Kentucky and Coach John Calipari have agreed to the terms of a long-term contract for Cal to finish his career at UK.

According to the exclusive report, UCLA offered Cal a contract worth nearly $48 million over six years.  Davis posted that UCLA was granted permission to talk to Coach Calipari.

Cal declined the offer and UK decided to lock it down.

Davis reports that the new contract would include a 10-year-term as a coach and a contract to serve as an ambassador for the school after he retires.
