LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– An arrest has been made in a weekend shooting.
Lexington Police arrested 20-year-old Mykel D. Smith for assault first.
He is accused of shooting an acquaintance Sunday morning on Race Street. The victim is a 33-year-old man. Police say he is still in the hospital.
Smith was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
