LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Police say one person was shot after an armed robbery at a home in a Lexington neighborhood.
Police were called to a home at Hidden Point Drive. Officers tell LEX 18 that two people were inside the home when two people broke in, pointed guns and demanded cash and cell phones.
Detectives say the incident could be drug-related. The only description they have of the suspects is that they are male, but neighbors say a green car sped off after the shot was fired.
The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.
