BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Danville man is in jail after police say he broke into a school.

Officers say they were questioning 26-year-old Jacob Gordon about a vehicle break-in, and reportedly found money and ID cards the victim had reported stolen, as well as other items believed to have been stolen.

Those included laptop computers and three Danville state championship rings.

Police soon received another call, reporting a burglary at Danville High School.

Officers say Gordon also had items that were reported stolen in that incident and was wearing one of the championship rings on his finger.

He faces numerous charges, including burglary and theft.
