Man Convicted In Murder Of Veteran To Be Formally Sentenced

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (The News Enterprise)– A Radcliff man convicted in the 2017 murder of a retired US Army veteran is scheduled to be formally sentenced Tuesday.

A jury recommended 40 years for murder and 13 years for first-degree assault for Timothy Hargroves Jr.

Hargroves was charged in the 2017 shooting death of Bernard Williams.

He was also accused of injuring the mother of one of his daughters.

His sentencing is scheduled for 10 a.m.
