PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman was injured in a collision on KY 461 Wednesday morning.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said that the investigation determined that Loretta Baker, of Monticello, was travelling northbound on KY 461 driving a 2006 Chrysler minivan when she crossed over the centerline and struck a tractor-trailer being operated by 29-year-old Camacho Borroto from Smyrna, Tennessee.

Their press release says that the tractor-trailer was sitting still in a turn lane on KY 461, waiting to turn left onto Pin Oak Drive.

They are not sure why Baker swerved over and struck the tractor-trailer head-on.

Baker was flown from the scene to UK Hospital. The extent of her injuries are not known at this time.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
