POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man who allegedly tried to drive over a state trooper was arrested following a chase Monday.
Official say the trooper tried to stop a car that was reported stolen, but the driver wouldn’t stop.
They say once he was cornered, the driver attempted to run over the trooper so the trooper fired shots at the car.
The driver, Michael Osborne, was arrested soon after. He was already wanted in connection to an armed robbery.
He now faces several more charges, including attempted murder of a police officer and wanton endangerment.
