(Axios)– According to a report from Axios, Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell has recommended US Ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft as the next UN Ambassador.
Craft is from Kentucky.
She and her husband, billionaire coal CEO Joe Craft, rank among the state’s highest-profile Republican donors. The pair are best known for their philanthropic contributions to the University of Kentucky.
