Closures In Madison, Scott Counties Due To High Water

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 7 advises motorists that portions of some routes in the district’s counties are temporarily closed due to high water from the continual rain.

Wednesday, February 20 – currently and until further notice

The following areas are closed:

Madison County

  • Union City Road/KY 1986 – milepoint 2.064 (the Otter Creek Bridge crossing)

o   this location is approximately two (2) miles from the Robert R. Martin Bypass in Richmond (between the CSX Railroad overpass and Hackett Pike)

 

Scott County

The following areas are closed:

  • Muddy Ford Road/KY 922 – milepoint 9.556 (Muddyford Creek)

o   this location is near Anderson and Barkley Streets

 

  • Biddle Pike/KY 620 – milepoint 11.2 to milepoint 11.25 (Little Eagle Creek)

o   this location is near Cincinnati Pike/US 25

  • Lisle Road/KY 1963 – milepoint 1 to milepoint 1.8

o   this location is near the Burton Farm entrance
