RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A couple narrowly missed being hit by a rockslide Monday while they were taking pictures nearby.
It happened on US 127 just south of the Wolf Creek Dam.
Linda Shepherd posted on Facebook saying that she and her husband were taking pictures of the dam, when the rocks came tumbling down and missed them by about eight feet.
The slide blocked both north and southbound lanes.
