GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Search efforts are ramping back up Saturday morning in Garrard County as crews fan out to look for Madison County mother Savannah Spurlock, who has been missing for six weeks.
Local volunteers are getting help from an outside group to focus on an area of Garrard County.

Dave Rader with the Midwest chapter of Texas Equusearch is spearheading Saturday’s search for the missing mother of four, who last was seen leaving a Lexington bar in early January.
Volunteers from all over met at Hyattsville Baptist Church in Lancaster.
Raider was organizing the day’s search, and the group was hoping to use ATVs and drones in the operation. However, snow on the ground means most of the search will be conducted by volunteers on foot.
“We’re going to hold off on the ATVs, only for a safety factor,” said Rader.
Searchers plan to go back out on Sunday if nothing is found Saturday.
