FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) – The state House approved an abortion bill on Friday.
The bill would outlaw abortion in Kentucky if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.
The sponsor said he wants the law already in place, so Kentucky could capitalize if the Supreme Court were to reverse the Roe v. Wade decision.
Now, the bill will head to the Senate.
The state House will soon consider the fetal heartbeat abortion bill that the Senate approved on Thursday.
