Man Acquitted Of Step-Brother’s Murder Writes Confession

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– A man found not guilty of killing his step-brother in 2011 has now confessed to the crime.

In a four page letter written from jail, Josh Young admits to killing 15-year-old Trey Zwicker–who was brutally beaten behind Liberty High School.

Young was acquitted in 2013 when his father, Joshua Gouker took the fall.

Gouker is now serving a life sentence.

In the letter, Young says everything Gouker told the court was a lie.

Since his his acquittal, Young has been in and out of jail.

He’s currently serving time on a weapons charge.
