(DatingNews.com) According to a recent study that examined divorce rates across America, four places in Kentucky were included on the list of towns with the highest divorce rates in the country.
Of the top 20 towns, Campbellsville ranks 7th, Middlesboro ranks 9th, Somerset ranks 12th, and Mount Sterling ranks 17th.
DatingNews.com analysts say they looked at the U.S. Census Bureau’s marital status reports for every U.S. micropolitan area to find those with the highest percentage of divorcees as well as relevant demographics to see how the economic conditions may have influenced the results.
Every town on the list has a divorce rate above 15% whereas the national average for 2017 was 10.9%.
