WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two lanes of Kentucky Highway 169 at Delaney Ferry are blocked due to an overturned semi.
Officials say fuel is leaking from the vehicle onto the roadway and utility lines are down in the area.
The driver is reportedly OK, but was stuck in the semi for some time while Kentucky Utilities assessed the situation.
They estimate the road will be closed for around two hours.
There is a detour established at Shannon Run Road and Delaney Ferry Extension.
A semi driver slipped off the road on Pinckard Pike in Woodford County this morning. Luckily the driver is ok, but he’s having to stay inside the overturned truck until KU crews say it’s safe. The truck is tangled up in some power lines. @LEX18News pic.twitter.com/o1qDG86VRU
