GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Kentucky man is facing charges after attempting to ransom the parents of a missing woman from Tennessee.
Police say Bryan Conley contacted the mother saying that her daughter had been kidnapped, and demanded $20,000 for her release.
He then demanded the woman drive to Ohio, saying she’d receive further instructions
Police say Conley threatened to sell, rape, and kill the daughter if her parents didn’t comply with his demands.
On Thursday, police along with the FBI tracked Conley down and arrested him in Leitchfield.
The woman was found safe.
Conley is expected to be in court Friday.
