LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18/WAVE) – The FBI in Louisville announced Wednesday morning that a man wanted in connection to an armored truck robbery had been captured in Connecticut.

The FBI says Mark Espinosa was arrested on a federal warrant by police near Hartford.

Louisville Metro Police were searching Espinoza after a Dec. 5 robbery of an armored truck for which he was the driver.

The armored truck was parked in a Jefferson Mall parking lot when Espinosa and an undisclosed amount of money went missing.

It was not immediately clear how Espinosa’s arrest in Connecticut occurred, but the FBI in Louisville thanked Wethersfield Police Department.
