Glasgow Woman Charged With 70 Counts Of Animal Cruelty

GLASGOW, Ky. (LEX 18)- A Glasgow woman has been charged with 70 counts of second-degree animal cruelty after multiple dead animals were located on her property.

Police arrested Heather Gillock after the Glasgow-Barren County Animal Control received a complaint of possible animal abuse on her property.

Officers responded to Goodnight Terrance Road in Cave City and located 28 deceased chickens and one deceased cat. They also found 19 chickens, 11 cats and 11 dogs that appeared to be neglected and malnourished.

Gillock was charged with 70 counts of Cruelty To Animals 2nd Degree.
