MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (WPSD)— Attorneys representing the parents of Preston Cope, who was killed in the Marshall County High School shooting, have filed a lawsuit against accused shooter Gabriel Parker, his mother and his stepfather.
The new lawsuit is separate from the one filed by the families of four of the other victims in the January 2018 shooting, WPSD reports.
Preston’s parents – Brian and Teresa Cope– are named as plaintiffs while alleged shooter Parker, his mother, Mary Minyard and his stepfather Justin Minyard are named as defendants.
