SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The story of Scott County Deputy Jaime Morales, who was paralyzed when he was shot in the line of duty, has touched many in the Bluegrass and beyond.

Now we can add Heisman Trophy-winner Tim Tebow to those paying tribute to him.

The Scott County Sheriff’s Office released a video of the former quarterback and current minor league baseball player praising Morales.

In the video, Tebow holds a “217 Strong” T-shirt and offers his thanks and prayers to Morales.

Tebow was in Kentucky on Saturday to help Lexington Christian Academy celebrate the school’s 30th anniversary.
