Danville Burger King Patrons Encouraged To Get Hep A Vaccine

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (The Advocate Messenger)– A Burger King employee in Boyle County has been diagnosed with hepatitis A.

The Advocate Messenger reports that the health department is urging anyone who ate at the Danville location between Dec. 12 and Jan. 1 to get the vaccine.

The health department reports there is little to no risk to the public of getting the virus.

There have been over 2,900 cases of hepatitis a confirmed in Kentucky.
