LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A woman was taken to the hospital after police say she accidentally shot herself in the leg.
First responders were dispatched to Ross Avenue around 10 a.m. Lexington police say that a woman accidentally triggered the weapon inside her vehicle.
The woman was taken to UK Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are not investigating the incident any further.
