JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who fraudulently used a credit card after stealing it and other items on Christmas morning.
Officials say a man was seen between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Golf Club Drive looking into people’s vehicles.
He reportedly stole from five vehicles that were all sitting on different driveways unlocked, and then made his way to a couple stores in Lexington.
He stole at least one credit card, a wallet, a briefcase, and two hand guns.
The man stopped at the Minit Mart on Lansdowne Drive and made a purchase before leaving in a red mini van. His next stop was at the Walgreens off Reynolds Road.
From surveillance video, the sheriff’s office described the suspect as a white male who was wearing a black hoodie and khaki pants.
The neighborhood association is working with the sheriff’s office to compare notes and maybe even some surveillance video.
