LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) – A community is gathering to remember a fallen Louisville Metro Police Officer.
At 6 p.m. Thursday, the Fraternal Order of Police and FOP Auxiliary will be laying flowers in memory of Detective Deidre Mengedoht at LMPD’s Second Division.
Det. Mengedoht was killed during a traffic stop on Christmas Eve.
A remembrance LMPD cruiser will be draped with a black ribbon.
The Second Division is located at 3419 Bohne Avenue in Louisville.
