GRANT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– He’s as cuddly as a cactus, as charming as an eel, and his attorneys say he soon will file an appeal.

On Wednesday, Grant County Deputy Scott Conrad apprehended The Grinch at the Grant County Middle School.

“He’s a mean one,” said Deputy Conrad.

LEX 18 reported the story years ago when The Grinch was charged with Stealing Christmas in Mason County. He had allegedly stolen all the presents in Whoville, Kentucky and was later arrested in a home on Mount Crumpit, just six minutes north of Whoville.

Residents of Whoville, who like Christmas a lot, told LEX 18 that they were worried after hearing of the Grinch’s escape.

“Our Jing Tinglers, Flu Floppers, Tar Tinkers, and Who Hoovers aren’t safe,” one resident said.

Well now the whos of Whoville can rest easy thanks to the hard-working people of the Grant County Schools Food Services. Employees there contacted police after catching The Grinch stealing food that was meant for the students. Witnesses say he took the Who pudding and took the roast beast.

“He even took our last can of Who hash,” said one witness.

We’re told he now faces charges burglary, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and animal abuse.

Well the Grinch got arrested, thanks to these guys. 😂 Merry Christmas from Food Service, everyone enjoy the break. See you next year!
