(LEX 18)– Earlier this week, police arrested Paul Douglas Sizemore for a triple murder in Leslie County. His arrest brings back painful memories for the sister of Ruth Ann Osborne who Sizemore was convicted of killing back in 1987.

Lissa Osborne Williams says Paul Douglas Sizemore is a “monster.” More than 30 years ago, she said he murdered, then mutilated, her younger sister Ruth Ann, who was Sizemore’s own cousin.

Williams spoke with LEX 18 by phone from her home in Alabama.

“He treated her like some kind of animal he hunted. She was a beautiful person, it destroyed our family,” she said.

Williams said that Sizemore shot her sister three times in the head and shot her in the eye.

She says their mother never got over it.

“She passed never knowing why he done it,” she said. “That was her main question throughout the whole thing, why, why, why?”

Williams said Sizemore should have never been released from prison. She said she is sick knowing that now, he is charged with the murders of Larry, Norma, and Chad Bowling. All three were found shot and killed earlier this week at their Leslie County home, leading to a manhunt that ended in Sizemore’s arrest.

Williams told LEX 18 that she moved out of state because of the heartache of her sister’s murder.
