PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– One person died in a crash on US 119 in Pike County Thursday.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. near Pike Central High School.
The preliminary investigation reveals that a vehicle was traveling northbound when it crossed the median and struck another vehicle headed southbound, according to KSP. KSP said that the driver of the northbound vehicle, 48-year-old Carl Gross, of Raccoon, was partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
