SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3) – A daycare in Shepherdsville is under investigation by Kentucky State Police after allegations of child abuse surfaced.

Trooper Scotty Sharp told WAVE 3 News there are possibly multiple victims of criminal abuse at the Notebook Learning Center, located on Burkland Blvd.

KSP said they were notified by a parent Dec. 3 of alleged sexual abuse against a child.

Sharp added the investigation is centered on an employee that worked at the daycare.

Currently, KSP is conducting interviews with parents whose children go to the daycare, as well as forensic interviews on children, and interviewing staff.

A parent told WAVE 3 News that the daycare does have cameras inside which allow parents to check on their children, but the last few weeks the cameras haven’t been working.

KSP said the daycare has been cooperative.

No arrests have been made. Police will determine if any charges will be filed in this case. It could go to a grand jury for an indictment.

Police said if any parents know anything, they should contact KSP at Post 4.
