(LEX 18) – The Western Kentucky hometown of former Miss Kentucky Ramsey Carpenter Bearse has taken down signs with her name on them.
The 28-year-old was arrested last Friday in West Virginia. According to officials, Bearse admitted to sending nude photos of herself to a 15-year-old former student.
As word of her arrest spread, the mayor of Hartford in Ohio County says the decision was made to remove the signs, at least temporarily.
Bearse is charged with four counts of distributing obscene matter to a minor.
