KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Kentucky State Police are investigating after human remains were found in Knox County.
It happened just after 6 p.m. Monday off Garland Cemetery Road in the Gray Community.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was riding his four-wheeler in the woods when he came across the remains.
We’re told the remains will be sent to the state medical examiner’s office in Frankfort on Tuesday for an autopsy.
Police say the body can’t be identified at this time.
No word on a cause of death.
