KSP Investigates Counterfeit Money

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)- Kentucky State Police detectives say that they are investigating a case of counterfeit money in the Post 9 area.

They are investigating a forged $100 bill. They are concerned that there may be more counterfeit bills circulating in the Post 9 area.

KSP says that the bill feels different than standard currency and it also has small Chinese writing on the back, which appears to be stamped on the bill. The serial number is B17696366.
