TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police and emergency crews were on the scene Tuesday afternoon of a crash in Taylor County, and officials say at least one person was killed.

The wreck occurred about 3:30 p.m. along Kentucky Highway 55 about three miles south of Campbellsville.

The coroner tells LEX 18 that 31-year-old Steven Kyle Taylor, of Burkesville, died as a result of the accident. He was a passenger in a taxi at the time.

Several others, including a child, were hurt. The child is in critical condition.

The coroner said that it appears the crash happened when a vehicle that was that was stopped was rear-ended, causing a chain-reaction.

One of the vehicles involved was hauling logs.
