2 Men Injured In Taylor Co. Crash

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Taylor County were investigating after two people were injured in a crash involving four vehicles.

According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department, 33-year-old Joel Yarberry of Columbia was traveling northbound on Kentucky Highway 55 about 5:45 p.m. Friday when his vehicle crossed the center line, sideswiping two vehicles before being hit by a third.

Officials said Yarberry was trapped in his vehicle and had to be extricated. He and the man in the car that hit him, 66-year-old Arthur Goins, both were taken to the Taylor Regional Hospital.

The extent of the men’s injuries and their conditions were not disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
