LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man has been arrested after being accused of running away from police across a busy road.
Police arrested Malyk Persley around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Centre Parkway.
They say he was being arrested on warrants when he allegedly took off running.
We’re told police caught up to Persley about a half mile away after he tripped.
Persley is also accused of robbing and assaulting his girlfriend last month.
He faces several charges, including fleeing or evading police, and robbery.
