Louisville Museum Showcases Desk Used By Helen Keller

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– A facility that helps those who are blind or visually impaired has debuted the newest addition to its the museum.

The American Printing House for the Blind has received a writing desk used by Helen Keller.

The desk is on loan from the American Foundation for the Blind where Keller worked for 44 years.

At the desk, Keller cemented her legacy as an activist and advocate for several causes throughout her life.
