Man Charged After String Of Burglaries At Car Washes

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Boyle County have arrested a man suspected of burglarizing several car washes.

Officials arrested Eric Miller on Sunday after an investigation.

Police said they were alerted to a burglary at a car wash early Sunday in Junction City. Sheriff’s deputies recognized the suspect from burglaries Saturday at car washes in Danville.

Police tracked Miller through his vehicle to a home, where they said they observed stolen items inside the vehicle.

Miller was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of possession of burglary tools, two counts of first-degree criminal mischief, two counts of receiving stolen property over $500, one count of receiving stolen property under $500, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree possession of unspecified drug.

He also was arrested on outstanding charges of failure to appear and criminal mischief.

Miller was booked into the Boyle County Detention Center.
